Dr Gene Sherman AM (1947-) is a philanthropist, academic and Chairman and Executive Director of Sherman Contemporary Art Foundation. She has won numerous awards and in 2010 was made a Member of the Order of Australia for her cultural philanthropy and her support of emerging and established artists.
