Records indicate John Ibbetson Hollinworth and Edwin Hollinworth may have come to NSW in 1839, with some land grants in John Ibbetson Hollinworth’s name being recorded in the following years. Edwin William Hollinworth settled in NSW and married Matilda Sophia Underwood in 1846. He held positions including a Commissioner of the Sydney Road Trust and a clerk in the Colonial Treasury.
