This sub-series was compiled by Ian Heads from original photographs and reproduced historic photographs of Rugby League, Cricket, the Olympic Games and other Australian sports and sportspeople. This series of photographs is arranged by sport in alphabetical and chronological orders. The collection consists of photographs of sportspeople and sports administrators from organisations such as the South Sydney Rugby League Club, Rugby League News and Rugby League World magazines, and official photographers (for example Action Photographics).
