  • General note

    Matt Cosgrove grew up in Richmond, Western Sydney. He attended Hobartville Public School (1982-1988) and Richmond High School (1989-1994). In 1995 Matt began a Bachelor of Design in Visual Communication, majoring in Illustration. He graduated four years later with First Class Honours and the University Medal for Academic Excellence. During his first week at university he met Eva Amores, a fellow student. Matt and Eva married in 2000, and have two sons.

    Matt has worked in the publishing industry as an author, illustrator and designer for over 25 years. He is the author/illustrator of his million-plus bestselling picture book series, Macca the Alpaca, Dharma the Llama and the Epic Fail Tales. Eva and Matt are also the co-authors of the Worst Week Ever series.
