    Donor inherited collection from her mother in 2022.
  • Scope and Content
    21 black and white photographic prints and 26 Kodachrome colour slides depicting various locations around Sydney. Three blank sheets of monogrammed notepaper, two from the Hydro Majestic Hotel in Medlow Bath, Blue Mountains, and one from Parliament New South Wales.

    7 photographs relating to Middle Harbour, Sydney, and the construction of the second incarnation of the Spit Bridge between Mosman and Seaforth from 1952, including signage for the Cleveland Bridge and Engineering Co. Ltd.

    3 photographs of the Greengate Hotel in Killara prior to its 1943 rebuild.
    3 photographs of Sydney Centennial Park, Narrabeen Lakes and the HMS Aquitania, the latter inscribed "taking Australian troops to the Middle East during WW2 leaving Sydney Harbour".
    3 photographs of flooding at Bombala, New South Wales, taken 22 June 1952. 1 photograph shows the recreation grounds and tennis clubhouse, and 2 photographs show the Olympia Theatre.

    Most of the photographic prints are annotated with the location, and those captioned "Middle Harbour" bear the name of the photographer, Jeffrey Lister. Most of the slides are captioned and two are dated.
