The Ethnic Communities’ Council of NSW (ECCNSW) is the peak body for all culturally and linguistically diverse communities in New South Wales. It is a non-profit association that was established in 1975 at Sydney Town Hall by a mass rally of all ethnic communities in NSW attended by Prime Minister Gough Whitlam and Malcolm Fraser.
Bill Jegorow was the Council’s founding Chairperson.
