    Denie Pentecost (1970- ) grew up in Mt Druitt in Western Sydney. She was a member of the Australian women’s national soccer team, ‘the Matildas’, playing at the OFC Women’s Championship in 1994 and the FIFA Women’s World Cup in 1995. After her sporting career she worked in the film industry, taking her short film ‘Sexy Thing’ to the Cannes Film Festival in 2006. Since 2019 Denie has been a practising gestalt therapist and is currently an associate-level teacher trainer of Kundalini Yoga.
