Francis Jenkins (1930-) completed a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Sydney University, 1951. His hobby of stained glass fabrication became a lifelong interest, which became a main focus after his retirement.

Martin van der Toorn (1928-) studied at the Academy of Arts and in stained glass in The Netherlands before coming to Australia in 1950. From 1961, Van Der Toorn managed John Ashwin and Co and Van-Mar Studio and retired in 1996.
