    Theatre North was founded by Peter and Ros Derrett in 1981 to meet the cultural needs of their local community in Lismore, New South Wales. The Theatre and its associated workshops and programs provided challenging mainstage performances, touring, skills development workshops, youth theatre, disability youth workshops, and Theatre In Education programs.
