    Annie Elizabeth, Lady Sulman nee Masefield (1864-1949) was the second wife of architect, town planner and patron of the arts Sir John Sulman (1849-1934). She was an accomplished Australian wildflower photographer, publishing two books of her images during the early 20th century.

    Author, artist and educationalist, Florence Sulman (1876-1965) was the eldest child of architect, Sir John Sulman and his first wife, Sarah.

    Thirty-nine diaries and notebooks written by Annie, Lady Sulman, 1904-1913, 1915-1916, 1923-1933, 1935-1946, 1948

    Subjects include Sir John Sulman, a New Zealand trip in 1926 and Sulman family daily life at Burrangong, McMahon's Point and 'Kihilla', Lawson, New South Wales.

    Loose material found in diaries includes a Kate Greenway illustration (1905), postmarked George V and Edward VIII 1936 stamps, small Christmas Greetings note card from Ella and Minnie Sulman, postcard from Larvik to Annie from Jane, 8 December 1903 (1936), calling card belonging to Mr. W. F. Bray (June 1936) and H. V. Bondeson business card (1937).

    1. Forty-one letters received by Florence Sulman, 1925-1927 written by family and friends including her mother, Annie Sulman, brother Arthur Sulman, sister-in-law, Ann and The Society of Arts and Crafts, Sydney.
    2. Superseded last will and testament of Annie Elizabeth Sulman, 27 March 1894
    Two telegraphs received by the Sulman family, 1827 and undated.
