  • Variant title

    Though published as Darkness More Visible, Moorhead's original title was The Seventh Trial of Annihilation and most of the drafts in this collection have that original working title. Published in the form of 7 interlinked "books", the final titles for the 7 books were 1. Murder, 2. Motherhood, 3. Madness, 4. Nonsense, 5. Chemicals, 6. Transsexualism, 7. Money - however the books were sometimes named differently or unnamed during the draft stages
