    Suzie Miller recounts her upbringing in a working class family in St Kilda, Melbourne and partly in North Arnhem Land, Northern Territory. She talks about being friends with Indigenous girls and experiencing their culture. Miller discusses her studies in immunology at Monash University, law and Masters of Theatre and Film at University of New South Wales, and playwriting at National Institute of Dramatic Arts. Miller discusses her early career in corporate law, and moving to advocacy, working with victims in Kings Cross for many years at Shopfront Youth Legal Service.

    Miller discusses her plays including 'Births, deaths and marriages', 'Cross sections', 'All the blood and all the water', 'Reasonable doubt', 'Transparency' and others. She talks in depth about her play, 'Prime Facie'; themes she explores in her plays, including justice and social issues; her work around the globe; and her shift to novels and films in the future.
